Pa-ki-ja-na is the principal religious centre in the realm of Pylos and it was settled 5 kilometres north-east from the so-called Palace of Nestor. It is mentioned especially in religious context. In addition to its presence on PY Tn 316, pa-ki-ja-na appears on Fr 1217, 1233, and Un 2. These tablets record, respectively, votive offerings of perfumed oil and the initiation ceremony of the wa-na-na.
